Five avoidable things to come in Media House

Five avoidable things to come in Media House

Many people dream to come into the media field. For this, they surf the internet, visit different sites, watch videos, and gather some information to get knowledge about that field. Firstly, they search for the relevant courses and complete that course. Get a degree with good marks and then start looking for jobs. They prepare a resume/CV mentioning their good qualities, activities, certifications, and everything to make a good impression on the recruiter.

Candidates make their profiles on many job searching apps like Naukri, Monster, Linkedin, etc. They get relevant jobs matching with their profiles, they receive calls from the recruiter and they go to attend the interview. Along with that, they visit different companies, organizations, and radio stations as well if they have to come on the radio. Here, they do some mistakes to come to the media which they should avoid.

Some avoidable things for candidates to come in media

Don’t hand over your resume to whoever you see at the reception.

Don’t try to find a contact number even it is of programming head. Instead of that, you should try to get an official email id. Email may work not contact numbers.

Don’t try to schedule your interview without relevant knowledge and experience. Without knowing, you can’t crack the interview. It would be wastage of time because your degree is not enough unless you know work and basic things.

Don’t apply for a job without having your work sample. Your sample attracts the recruiter, not your resume. Always attach the links of your work sample while applying for the job or sending job mail along with the resume.

Don’t apply for the job without having relevant skills regarding that position.
