Cause of separation between Siblings

After parents who can understand we as well are our siblings. They are close to us and we share everything with them by default from childhood. Then what brings change between us that we stand against each other. Here, I am trying to answer the cause which demands separation among siblings.

Some points of the separation demand in my opinion:

• Parents Property
• Communication gap
• Parents love
• Jealousy from each other’s strength and weakness

Parents Property

Parent property plays a big role to create a quarrel situation between siblings. The constitution law says that each child has equal rights on their parent property. The reason for quarrel depends on family status. Each kind of family has its kind of story. High-class family, middle-class family, and lower class family each has a different story.

High-class family- In high-class families, children usually grow up in the care of nurses and governesses. They hardly meet their parents in the dining space at the time of tea, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The same thing happens among their siblings. Conditionally they enjoy living alone.

When they become young they by default rise interest into parent property because no one has taught them to learn and earn. As they love to live alone so they don’t want to share their property with anyone even with their siblings. This makes them separate from their brothers and sisters.

Middle-class family- In middle-class families, children grow up in the guidance of their parents. They spent most of their time with their parents and their siblings. From childhood, they being taught the concept of learning and earn. They focus to earn using their talent. They don’t have any fixed property on which they spent their entire life.

Whatever they earn they manage everything from that. They don’t have that much money that they share with their parent and siblings. Maybe they spent some at the beginning of their earning period but they can’t do it forever. Once they get married they could only manage their spouse and children's expense. This makes them separate from their siblings.

Lower class family- In lower-class families, children grow up in a combined family. They don’t have space to live separately. They failed to get some better quality education from good schools and colleges. From childhood, they learn to manage in less. They are dependent on each other and this is their helplessness.

In this condition, if anyone of them luckily developed him and started earning on a great package. Then other family members will start chasing him. They will fight to get something from his property. This will make him stressed and will think to be separate from his family. For their better, the rest of his siblings will stand to claim in their parent property and also think to stay separate to give him competition.

The communication gap between siblings

Usually, in the family, some children think to be separate from their siblings because of their age difference. Age difference creates a communication gap. We all are taught from childhood that we should respect our elders. The same thing applies to our elder brothers and sisters. If there are three children in a home then definitely there would be a generation gap between the first and the third child.

The generation gap creates a proper communication gap between the first and the third child due to a difference in the state of mind and the way of thinking and working. The elder one will think everything according to his generation and behave in that way with the third one.

When the first one will prohibit the third one for anything doing wrong then his way of talking will seem to the third one that his elder is pressurizing him to live in his way. The third one will feel uncomfortable and will look for freedom. This generates the demand for separation.

Parents love

Usually, in a family; Parents and children exist. Every parent loves their children equally. The first child loved by his parents a lot because it gives them a new experience to become a parent. When the second comes in the world the parents focus more on him. In this situation, the first one feels that the parent's love towards him has been divided.

Feeling the situation; when the parent started looking towards the first one then the second starts feeling that his parent is not loving him. This creates a misunderstanding between siblings. From here they start thinking of being separate. This situation becomes the cause of separation.

Jealousy from each other’s strength and weakness

If a child has specific quality as his strength then people start to focus on him specially and start feeling proud of him. In reverse condition, if a child is not normal and seems weak; people focus more on him and give him extra care.

Both conditions create jealousy between siblings. They start thinking that why people are focusing more on him. They start making the distance from everyone because of jealousy. This becomes the cause of separation between siblings and also generates hate. This way it makes the demand for separation.
