Divisions
1.
Programing team- The team who prepare radio show and programs to cast on the
radio is the programming team.
2. Radio
Jockey- In the programming team, there is a person, who hosts the radio shows
and programs are known as a radio jockey.
3. Producer-
The producer is the person who helps the programming team in preparation for
the shows.
4.
Programing head- To judge the programming team and producer, there is a person,
who monitors, gives feedback, gives guidance, and takes responsibility to make
sure that everything is happening properly. That person is known as a
programming head. In short, he is the boss, and making a good impression on him
keeps the radio station environment cool.
5. Sound
engineer / sound designer- The work of the sound designer or engineer is to
make all the broadcasting promos and ads. He uses to take voice-over from a
person and design it creatively. Sometimes, the radio jockey does voice-over
for some ads.
6. Script
writer- A person who writes the script for an advertisement to which a radio
jockey does voice-over and record it with the help of a sound designer by
adding some music; that person is the script writer.
7. Copy
writer- Copy writer uses to write a script for programming, and the upcoming
sales. That person is a copy writer.
8. Music
manager- These days, the music manager who is the national music manager, he
has the right to decide on which station what song will be played. He also
decides which song will not be played. How many times a song will be played,
this is also decided by the music manager.
In 99.99
cases radio jockey doesn’t have the right to decide which song he should play.
Radio jockey will play the only song which would be recommended by a music
manager. Radio jockey can only shuffle the songs. Like no. 1 song on fifth or
any other place or any other song from the list at no.1 position. But, he
should play only from the ordered list.
9. Sales
team- The work of the sales team depends upon the performance of the Radio
jockey. Once, the performance of the radio jockey is good then on that basis,
the demand comes from the programming team that sales team brings some ads from
the market. The sales team goes to the market, meet with brands, and make
promises based on the number of listenership that they will play their ads
between his shows.
Playing ads
between shows will promote those brands and the chance of their buyer numbers
will increase. In this hope, brands pay money for their brand promotion. This
money uses to give a salary to the workers of the radio station. This way, the
sales team works for the radio station.

Marketing team- If anything new and interesting happening then in that
situation how to market that thing; the marketing team thinks and works for
that. The marketing team uses to run a campaign, execute to market that thing.
This is the work of the marketing team.
11. Finance
team- The work of the finance team is to collect money from those clients with
whom the sales team had a deal. Their work is to take care that the payment
comes on time and everything runs smoothly.
12. Legal
team- Like every company, there is a legal team in the radio station as well.
If there is any trouble in the radio station, then the
legal team uses to handle that.
13. HR team-
The work of the HR team is not limited to arrange and manage everything
required for a festival, sending holiday greetings and mails to every employee,
or take care of every small thing. While the HR team plays a vital role to
bring and add new people to the company.
HR team
always stays in search of good people for their company. If you caught in the
eye of a good HR and he like your profile matching with the company. Then, he
will call you with a great opportunity and if you are lucky then you will be
hired.
14. Admin team- The work of the admin team is to care that everything is running properly. The internet speed is good or not, the pantry is running well or not, employees have pen, copy, and every small needed belonging with them or not. Such things the admin team looks for.
