News Reporting-

News reporting is the process of informing the public with news that reporters receive from different sources of information. In this process, news reporters who is also known as journalists; present the received news, either videotaped or live, through the transmissions from news correspondents.

Many people have some confusion with the term ‘news reporter’. Usually, people make assumptions with this term that the person who comes on the television screen is a news reporter. But, the reality is a little bit different. In general, there are three kinds of media:

3. Digital media / online journalism

In each of these media field, there is a news reporter. In print media, there is a reporter who goes to the spot and gathers some information, click photographs, prepare a rough report, and pass it to the press release office. That reporter also goes to the spot and gathers information, but additionally, he has a cameraman with him who takes videos, and click photographs as well. The reporter carries a mike and talks publicly which is being recorded live by the cameraman. That is connected with the studio and we see that news on television.

In digital media / online journalism, there is a person who sits on the system and prepares a report to publish online. Under digital media, websites, and blogging sites take place in which so many news, information, videos use to publish. And the person who prepares and publishes these reports is known as a news reporter. So, these kinds of news reporters exist in media or journalism. In one word they all called or termed as a journalist.

Advantages of being news reporters

Identity- As a news reporter they get their special identity. They would start their counting as a media person. They will be known as the updated person in society. Being a media person will give them a unique identity.

Respect- Socially they will start getting respect. Media is known as the fourth pillar of Indian democracy. Media people are known for becoming the bold voice of the common people. Their job is appreciable, so they get respect in society.

Meeting with celebrities, politicians and, big people- In print media, and electronic media, news reporters have a great opportunity to meet with celebrities, politicians, and big people to interview them. Interviewing them news reporters can become famous. This is the big advantage of being a news reporter.

News reporters can appear on television- News reporters of electronic media can appear on television. This is a great opportunity for them. In electronic media; television and radio takes place. The reporter of television will by default appear on television but sometimes because of popularity radio jockey or anchor of the radio station can also appear on television. This is the great thing with news reporters that they can appear on television.

Having more chances to travel- News reporters can have more chances to travel. To cover the news, reporters visit different places. Day and night they use to travel. If the reporter is a traveling lover then being a news reporter is full of benefits and advantages for him.

Dominance- It doesn’t matter that the news reporter is from print, electronic, or digital media. Media is the one word that increases the chances of having their dominance. This one word is enough for them to have some respect in any part of India. Media is the fourth pillar of Indian democracy. Being a media person brings respect in their life. They are the voice of the common people and every citizen of the country. This way, being a news reporter makes some dominance and this is one of the advantages.

They cover and read a different kind of news so they start gaining most of the information, and knowledge. All this information which they get daily makes them informative and updated.
