A True Friend

Scene-00

(In audio)

(There was a boy whose name was Suresh and he had only one friend named Rajat. Suresh never wanted to lose his the only friend Rajat. Other boys knew that Suresh has no more friend than Rajat. They feel jealous from the friendship of Suresh and Rajat. Rajat was aware of it so he fails every planning done by other Colony boys to break the friendship. Rajat was a healthy and strong boy. He knew the fighting tricks. Whenever anybody tries to disturb Suresh then Rajat beats them. So, Suresh was safe with Rajat.)

Scene-1

(One day a new family shifted in their colony. In that family there were two boys of similar age of Suresh and Rajat. One day they came to Suresh and told him that they know about the jealous of other boys but they are not like other boys. They said that they wanted to join his friendship. Suresh was happy to know that and he took them to Rajat. Rajat, Suresh and the two boys became friends. The name of two new boys was Sonu and Rohit.)

[Suresh is standing at a place]

Rohit: Hey Suresh!

Suresh: Yes. Who called me?

Sonu: Here, hi Suresh

Suresh: Hello! But I didn’t recognize you.

Sonu: You don’t know us because we are new in this colony.

Rohit: We know that other boys of the colony feel jealous from friendship of you and Rajat. But we are not like them. We want to join your friendship.

Suresh: That’s a good thing. I will tell Rajat. He will be happy to know this.

Sonu: There he is.

Suresh: Hey Rajat! Come here.

(Rajat comes closer)

Rajat: What happened?

Suresh: I want to introduce you to our new friends.

Suresh: They want our friendship. Will you allow it?

Rajat: What’s your view? Will you?

Suresh: I think we can trust them.

Suresh: Then, It’s done. We four are friends now. (All shake hand)

Scene-2

(Slowly Sonu and Rohit were very closer to Rajat. Rajat was forgetting Suresh after coming in friendship with Sonu and Rohit. Rajat started saying that Sonu and Rohit are his best friends moreover than Suresh. One day Rajat said that Suresh is a dull and weak boy and he is using me like a bodyguard. In response Suresh told that it’s not right and Rajat is my best friend not a bodyguard.)

[Sonu, Rohit, and Rajat stand together]

Rajat: Dear Sonu, You know something. Suresh is a very boring boy. After coming you two I am enjoying life better. You both are my best friends. Suresh always use me like a bodyguard. He can’t be my friend.

Sonu: Don’t worry friend we will never leave you.

Rohit: I am coming. I will be back soon.

(Rohit went and said everything to Suresh. Suresh gave a good answer.)

Rohit: You know Suresh. Rajat was saying that you are not your friend and you use Rajat like a bodyguard.

Suresh: No. It’s wrong. Rajat is not my bodyguard rather he is my best friend.

Scene-3

(Rajat asked Suresh that if he is able to take care of himself. Can Suresh protect himself? Suresh said yes. Rajat and Suresh started fighting and Suresh was beaten very badly. After that the fighting scene that became regular and every time Suresh remained beaten.)

[Rohit and Suresh comes closer to Rajat and Sonu]

Rajat: Hey Suresh! I want to ask you a question?

Suresh: Yes, tell me.

Rajat: Can you take care of yourself? Can you protect yourself?

Suresh: Yes, I can.

Rajat: Then prove it. Let’s have a fight with me.

Suresh: Why not? Sure. (Suresh being beaten very badly)

(In audio)

{This scene became regular and every time Suresh remained beaten. Slowly Suresh stopped talking to Rajat. Their friendship got broken.}

Suresh: You have changed Rajat. Every time you challenge me for fight and you beat me. I know I am weak but I can live alone. Enjoy with your new friends but remember one thing I never saw you like a bodyguard. You were always my friend and will be forever.

(After that they were not in touch for longer)

 

2 Years Later

(In audio)

Suresh had made a new friend. His name was Kishan. He was also stronger like Rajat.

Scene-4

(One day the news was out that Kishan was beaten by some boys in KBR field of the city. This news published in newspaper. After that news everyone stopped talking to Kishan. Kishan asked for a help to Suresh. He told to Suresh that he want Suresh to give all reports of the school and the classroom including each activity. Suresh should also inform Kishan that who said and what said about Kishan.)

[Suresh and Kishan are standing at a place]

Suresh: You know Kishan. You are my best friend.

Kishan: Yes you are.

Scene-5

(Kishan made a phone call and they met at a place.)

Kishan: Hello Suresh

Suresh: Yes Kishan. Tell me.

Kishan: I want to meet you now.

Suresh: Yes, I am coming.

[Suresh and Kishan standing at a place]

Kishan: Some boys have beaten me in KBR field of the city. I will not come to school for some days. Within these days you have to do something for me.

Suresh:  I will do it. Tell me what I have to do?

Kishan: No one will talk to me after this fight where I was beaten. But, you stay in touch with me. I want you to give me all reports of the school and the classroom including every activity. You have to also inform me that who said and what said about me.

Suresh: Yes, I will do it.

Scene-6

(Suresh was at home. His mother read the news about Kishan and she prohibited Suresh to meet Kishan. Suresh decided to meet Kishan for the last time. He wrote the school work and report on a paper and reached to Kishan home. Kishan was not at home. Kishan’s parents started questioning Suresh. Due to fear Suresh told so many things to Kishan’s parents which Suresh was not supposed to say. And at last he said that he will not come again.)

Suresh mom: Suresh. Kishan is your friend, right?

Suresh: Yes mom.

Suresh mom: News is published in the newspaper about Kishan that some boys has beaten him in the KBR field.

Suresh: Yes mom. It’s true.

Suresh mom: I want you to not meet with Kishan. Follow this strictly.

Suresh: Okay mom.

(In audio)

[Suresh decided to meet Kishan for the last time. He wrote all reports on a paper and thought that he will give the paper to Kishan and tell him that he will not come again to meet him.]

(Suresh at Kishan home)

Suresh: Kishan.., Kishan..

Kishan parents: Kishan is not at home.

Suresh: Okay, when he will be back?

Kishan Parents: We don’t know.

Kishan’s father: You study in his class?

Suresh: yes. (Fearing)

Kishan’s father: How longer you know Kishan.

Suresh: I am forgetting. (Speaking with fear)

Suresh: This is school work for Kishan. (Picking out from pocket)

Kishan’s father: Please come again.

Suresh: I don’t think that I will come here again. Because my parents have also read the news and they have prohibited me to meet with Kishan. I am here but it is not in the information of my parents this time. They sent me out for buying vegetables from the market but before that, I came here for the last time.

Kishan’s mother: Okay, give me the paper and go. Thank you.

(Suresh leaves)

Scene-7

(In audio)

Suresh returned home. Kishan was very angry when he came to know about everything and the conversation between Suresh and Kishan’s parents. Twice he disturbed Suresh in the market and also warned to beat Suresh in the colony. Suresh was tensed.

(One day Suresh met Rajat. Rajat declared the fact that why he was disturbing, and beating Suresh. He said that I was in the friendship trap of Sonu and Rohit. They had blackmailed me emotionally and actuated me to beat you. I became blind without thinking about you that what you will feel. Blindly, I had beaten you. For everything I am extremely sorry. When I stopped talking with you, after few days Sonu and Rohit quarreled with me. They also stopped talking with me. If you say, for you, I will beat Sonu and Rohit. In response, Suresh said that Rajat need not to do anything. That was okay. And then they shake hand.)

[Suresh is going somewhere when Rajat called his name.]

Rajat: Suresh.., Suresh..

Suresh: Rajat… (Whispered)

Scene-8

(Suresh and Rajat were in a conversation)

Suresh: How are you?

Rajat: I am fine, and you?

Suresh: Why? You want to disturb and beat me again?

Rajat:  No, you are getting me wrong. Today I want to make it clear.

Suresh: What you will justify? Everything is over.

Rajat: No. It is not over. You don’t know the fact.

Suresh: Then tell me. What is the fact?

Rajat: You know that I had beaten you and disturbed you. But you don’t know why I did that. ..

{Scene goes to flashback when Rajat was talking with sonu that day where Rajat beat Suresh for the first time in front of Sonu and Rohit}

I was talking to Sonu and Rohit.

Rajat: Dear Sonu, You know something. Suresh is very boring boy. After coming you two I am enjoying the life better. You both are my best friends. Suresh always use me like a bodyguard. He can’t be my friend.

Sonu: Don’t worry friend we will never leave you.

Rohit: I am coming. I will be back soon.

(In audio)

[After Rohit left then Sonu told me]

Sonu: Do you consider me as a friend?

Rajat: Yes.

Sonu: Then prove it.

Rajat: Tell me what I have to do for it?

Sonu: Beat Suresh.

Rajat: Then wait and watch.

After that I told you when you came closer.

[Rohit and Suresh comes closer to Rajat and Sonu]

Rajat: Hey Suresh! I want to ask you a question?

Suresh: Yes, tell me.

Rajat: Can you take care of yourself? Can you protect yourself?

Suresh: Yes, I can.

Rajat: Then prove it. Let’s have a fight with me.

Suresh: Why not? Sure. (Suresh being beaten very badly in that fight)

{Scene returned from the flashback}

Rajat: Every time they told me something like challenging words and I beat you blindly. When I stopped talking with you, after few days Sonu and Rohit quarreled with me. They also stopped talking with me. If you say, for you, I will beat Sonu and Rohit.

Suresh: That’s okay. You need not to do anything. (They Shake hand)

Scene-9

(One day later Kishan again disturbed Suresh. With sad mood Suresh told everything to Rajat. Rajat said that Suresh need not to worry because Kishan’s elder brother was Rajat’s ‘my dear’ friend. Rajat made a phone call to Kishan’s elder brother and said everything about Kishan. He said about the misunderstanding between Kishan and Suresh. Kishan’s elder brother understood and he stopped Kishan to disturb Suresh. The matter was short out and after that Kishan never disturbed Suresh.)

[Suresh was going in the market]

Kishan: Hey boy.

Suresh: Yes.

Kishan: You think that you are a hero?

Suresh: No.

[Kishan pushed Suresh on the road and ran away]

(In audio)

With sad mood Suresh made a phone call to Rajat and said everything.

 Suresh: Hello Rajat.

Rajat: Yes Suresh. Tell me.

Suresh: A boy is disturbing me. … (Said everything)

Rajat: You need not to worry about anything. Kishan’s elder brother is my ‘my dear’ friend. I will talk to him and everything will be short out.

[Rajat made a phone call to Kishan’s elder brother]

Rajat: Hello.

Rajat: Yes. I have a friend Suresh. Your brother is disturbing him due to a misunderstanding.

Kishan’s brother: Yes. I know about the misunderstanding. You don’t worry he will not disturb Suresh again.

Rajat: Okay thank you.

(In audio)

After that Kishan never disturbed Suresh again.

Scene-10

(Suresh and Rajat are standing at a place.)

Rajat: Any more problems Suresh?

Suresh: No.

Suresh: You know something, I found a true friend in you. Thank you for being with me.

Rajat: You’re most welcome.
